On March 20, 2013 Georgetown Mall demolition: Washtenaw County signs contract to move forward with work
 - The annarbordotcom reported that the County had signed a contract to have the buildings on the Georgetown Mall site demolished. All that was necessary for the demolition to proceed was the developer must finalize the "non-grant work" to proceed concurrently. Again, the developer is promising that he is on the verge of accomplishing the requisite contracts and lining up the needed funding.

 Developer gets started on preparing vacant Georgetown Mall for February demolition The AnnArbordotcom reported in that the developer continues to promise action on the demolition and building.

January 27, 2013 - Bloomfield Park for sale; foreclosure rights to go to top bid. An article in Crain's Detroit notes that the developer's previous failed project in Oakland County is in foreclosure.

"Schubiner's redevelopment plans have gone through several incarnations since his Bloomfield Hills-based company, Harbor Cos., bought the property for $6.1 million in 2001. Early plans called for a larger Kroger store and 80 residential condominiums."
